Minor Hotels has announced Layan Life by Anantara, a medical wellness concept, within the grounds of Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. The new purpose-built facility, set across 19,020 square feet, is scheduled to open in Q3 this year and will offer a blend of modern medical technologies and ancient Thai healing traditions. Drawing on more than two decades of wellness expertise from Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Layan Life by Anantara is grounded in the four elements at the core of Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM): earth, water, wind and fire.
Layan Life by Anantara will offer a range of three- to 10-day programs, each created by doctors and Thai medicinal experts. The programs will blend ancient wisdom and advanced medical assessments and diagnostics, tailored wellness nutrition and guided fitness. The result is a bespoke, 360-degree approach to holistic well-being, focusing on a variety of goals such as weight management, de-stressing, anti-aging and fitness.
The two-story Layan Life by Anantara will include a 2,368-square-foot gym, 646-square-foot yoga studio, 376-square-foot Pilates studio, meditation rooms and a hydrotherapy area with vitality pools, saunas and steam room on the lower level. The upper floor houses medical and holistic facilities and consultation rooms, alongside spaces for physiotherapy, TTM, esthetic treatments, IV procedures and medical treatments such as an Icepod, hyperbaric chamber and hydro colonic therapies. A Thai herbal dispensary will also be available.
Outdoors, the Active Zone includes tennis courts, a Muay Thai ring, climbing wall and a fitness area with water sports facilities. A selection of cultural excursions will also be offered.
