There's exclusive and then there's Park Hyatt's project with Pacific Century Premium Developments in Japan. One Hanazono Villas comprises just 13 private residences that will be the first Park Hyatt-branded villas in the country.

Located in Niseko, one of Japan's best-known ski destinations, within the Hanazono landscape, each of the 13 villas will measure approximately 7,500 to 10,800 square feet and feature four to six en-suite bedrooms, expansive living and dining areas, private driveways, and secluded gardens. Most will also come with panoramic views of Mount Yotei.

Owners will have access to an exclusive clubhouse with ski-in, ski-out connectivity alongside a dedicated après-ski lounge.

Developer Pacific Century Premium Developments was behind Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono and its residences, which opened in 2020. The residences will be managed and serviced by the team at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, combining the independence of villa ownership with the service standards of a five-star hotel.

"With only 13 individually separated villas in one of the world's most celebrated alpine destinations, the development brings together distinctive design, personalized service and the freedom of private residential living," said Tina Necrason, global head of branded residential at Hyatt.

The launch lands at an interesting moment for branded residences, as affluent buyers continue to flock toward larger, luxurious lower-density homes that offer hotel-level service.

"We continue to see strong demand from discerning buyers for residential offerings that bring together outstanding design, personalized service and a greater sense of space and discretion," added Stephen Ho, president – Greater China and growth, Asia Pacific at Hyatt.
