AmaWaterways has unveiled a lineup of experiences and offers for its 2024 summer European river cruise season. With 20 “Celebration of Wine Cruises,” two hosted cruises by travel personality Samantha Brown and Chef Joanne Weir, three “Loyalty Appreciation Cruises” plus “Summer Triple Savings” offer on select departures, the line has a lot to offer new and returning guests.
Travelers have until March 31, 2024, to reserve select seven-, 10- or 11-night Europe river cruises departing in July or August 2024 and benefit from $2,000 savings per stateroom, a complimentary stateroom upgrade and a $50 onboard credit per stateroom. Solo travelers may choose to receive “Single Supplement Waived” instead of the “Summer Triple Savings” offer. Travelers opting for a 14-night Europe river cruise will save $4,000 per stateroom and receive a complimentary stateroom upgrade as well as $100 onboard credit per stateroom.
Each “Celebration of Wine River Cruise” is hosted by a knowledgeable wine professional who leads guests through tastings and interactive discussions, accompanies them on select shore excursions to vineyards and cellars, and helps curate a special food and wine pairing dinner on board. Travelers will be joined by Andres Basso and Rodrigo Gonzalez, owners and winemakers, Lynfred Wines, on the Douro on the August 10 sailing; Karl and Carole Dinger, owners, Terra Vina Wines on July 11 on the Rhône River, and Theodora Lee, owner, Theopolis Vineyards, on July 24 on the Danube.
Guests will join TV host, travel expert and ship godmother Samantha Brown onboard AmaMagna through four countries along the Danube River departing July 29, 2024. Special events and "Travel Talks" are included on this sailing. Guests can also discover France’s Burgundy region alongside James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, restaurant owner and TV host Chef Joanne Weir as she hosts a seven-night cruise on the newest French itinerary, “Flavors of Burgundy,” along the Saône River departing Lyon on August 29, 2024.
Summer 2024 “Loyalty Appreciation Cruises” include “Impressions of the Seine & Paris” (June 1-8) onboard AmaDante; “Magna on the Danube” (July 28-August 4) onboard AmaMagna; and “Medieval Treasures” (August 21-28) onboard AmaCerto. Every “Loyalty Appreciation Cruise” offers past guests a choice of one of three offers: Complimentary Economy Airfare (with an option of paying $2,999 for Business Class Air) or $1,000 per person cruise savings or for solo travelers, a reduced single supplement of just 10 percent on top of the standard per person cruise fare. These offers are combinable with guests’ AmaWaterways Loyalty Benefits, which include an additional $100 per person savings plus other amenities.
The “Summer Triple Savings” offer is applicable to 18 itineraries across over 45 select departure dates from early July to end of August. In addition, it can be combined with AirPlus, AmaWaterways’ fixed-price airfare offer, allowing travelers to enjoy Economy Air at $899, Premium Economy Air at $2,299 or Business Class Air at $4,299 per person from all major U.S. gateways on a range of departure dates.
