Crystal AirCruises has unveiled a Chinese New Year Voyage to Kenya from February 17-23. The round-trip journey from Hong Kong will start at $28,000 per person.
The new voyage will let guests encounter exotic wildlife on safari through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya including cheetahs, elephants, zebras, lions, hippopotamus and more, and witness ancient African rituals including the “jumping dance” of the Maasai tribe warriors.
Guests will also stay at the Governor’s Camp, a luxury campsite with accommodations that include spacious, luxury tents and open-air dinners right in the African wilderness. Travelers can celebrate the Chinese New Year with a banquet prepared by a guest Chinese chef and enjoy traditional Chinese culture in the lush grasslands and acacia woodlands of Africa.
The Chinese New Year voyage will take place aboard the Crystal Skye, a luxury twin-aisle private plane. The Crystal Skye seats 88 guests and includes amenities like a social lounge with a stand-up bar, noise-cancelling headphones, complimentary global Wi-Fi, interactive TVs with on-demand programming and music library, individual USB ports and power outlets, and a live cockpit-to-ground listening channel. The Crystal Skye also provides international cuisine prepared by an executive chef, paired with a complimentary selection of wines, champagnes, beers and spirits.
Along with the new voyage, Crystal AirCruises offers custom journeys from a selection of diverse points around the globe, ranging from London and New York City to Argentina, Uzbekistan, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. With the ability to fly non-stop for 19 hours, Crystal AirCruises’ aircraft can connect any two points in the world, surpassing the current longest route from Singapore to New York at 17 hours.
