Crystal Cruises has announced a series of themed cruises for 2024, ranging from film and theater to golf and Broadway.
The first of these cruises is designed for film and theater enthusiasts and departs from Laem Chabang (Bangkok) to Hong Kong (February 16-28, 2024) aboard Crystal Symphony. Guests will be treated to a range of performances and insights into the world of entertainment. Grammy-nominated Christine Allado, celebrated for her numerous musical theater credits, will grace the stage for performances that "promise to wow." Broadway musical historian Steven Friedman, former regional marketing director for United Artists and Columbia Pictures, Andrew Friedenberg, founder of the San Diego Cinema Society and artistic director of the Coronado Island Film Festival, and Bruce McGill, American movie and TV actor, will also be aboard for fireside chats to share industry anecdotes.
Next up is a cruise for golf enthusiasts, departing from Lisbon to Dover (July 18-30, 2024). Golf instructors David Leadbetter and Roberto Borgatti will be aboard Crystal Symphony to guide guests interested in perfecting their swings. Leadbetter is known for his work with players such as Nick Faldo, Greg Norman and Ernie Els, and has a track record of coaching 26 players to Major Championship titles. Borgatti leads clinics for players of all skill levels, helping aspiring candidates pass the PGA Player Ability Test. The presence of these seasoned pros ensures a special golfing experience for followers of the sport.
Lastly, the cruise designed Broadway enthusiasts offers two sailings aboard Crystal Serenity, departing from Quebec City to New York City (October 10-18, 2024); and from New York City to Quebec City (October 18-26, 2024). Fans of Broadway can delight in American actress and singer Rachel York. Known for her iconic stage roles in productions such as “City of Angels,” “Les Miserables” and “Kiss Me Kate,” York’s performances will transport guests to the heart of Broadway.
