Crystal River Cruises just welcomed Crystal Bach, its first “Rhine Class” ship, to its fleet.
Crystal Bach is one of four expected “Rhine Class” ships by the cruise line, and was delivered to the brand by MV WERFTEN during the official handover ceremony in Wismar, Germany.
As part of the brand’s “Rhine Class” ships, Crystal Bach will offer guests butler service in every room category, king-sized beds, Panoramic Balcony-Windows, walk-in closets and dual vanity in the bathrooms in most categories, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen HDTVs, Nespresso machines as well as farm-to-table Michelin-inspired cuisine in multiple open-seated eateries which include the Waterside Restaurant, bistro cafés, the exclusive Vintage Room and the Palm Court.
The ship will sail on itineraries between Amsterdam and Frankfurt as well as Amsterdam and Basel, traveling along the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
This year, Crystal River Cruises celebrates 27 years, and recognizes that it has received several awards for its ships and service, including “Best River Cruise Line” by the readers of Travel + Leisure in the magazine’s 2017 World’s Best Awards, “World’s Best Cruise Ship” in Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader Choice Awards for 23 years, “World’s Best Large Ship Cruise Line” by Travel + Leisure readers for 20 years and “Best Luxury Cruise Line” by Virtuoso for three consecutive years in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
