Crystal has revealed details of its 2025 world cruise. Bookings for the voyage onboard Crystal Serenity will open on August 30. Spanning 123 nights, the itinerary includes visits to more than 31 countries, 62 ports and 17 overnights. Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), sister company, will offer shore excursions, overlands and pre- and post-tours for an additional charge. Destinations and experiences range from the Galápagos Islands and Machu Picchu to a stay at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti and visits to the Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park.
Departing from Fort Lauderdale, FL, on January 7, 2025, the journey sails to Mexico, Belize, Honduras and Colombia. A transit through the Panama Canal commences before sailing alongside South America’s western coast visiting Guayaquil, Lima and Pisco. Guests will explore the Chilean fjords and enjoy a stop at Ushuaia. The journey contiues north up the coast of South America to the festivities of the Rio Carnival. Namibia and South Africa’s coastlines hove into view through St. Helena. Experiences include an extensive program through Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya. Crystal Serenity proceeds east to the Seychelles and Maldives before traveling onwards to Sri Lanka, and India’s Mumbai for an overnight. Sailing west, travelers will enjoy a visit to the Valley of Kings in Egypt and the city of Petra in Jordan until the final stop through the Italian coast in the spring sailing to Barcelona.
Guests can enjoy a welcome celebration, gala dinners, and themed onboard and shoreside events. Highlights include:
- “Tango Through the Ages” – Guests will visit Argentina to witness the rise of the Argentinian tango and follow the stories of Maria Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes, Argentina’s most celebrated tango couple. Guests can enjoy performances, local wines and an authentic culinary experience.
- “An Evening with the Gods on Mt. Olympus” – An invitation to the Dionysian festival awaits for an evening that includes a cocktail reception, dinner, traditional music, Greek dancers and singers, plus a re-enactment of ancient Olympic games.
- “Colombo by Night” – In the heart of Sri Lanka’s capital city and overlooking the Galle Face Green, guests will enjoy street food, delicacies, signature cocktails and a Sri Lankan cultural performance.
Crystal’s World Cruise Ambassador Fernando Barroso de Oliveira will once again join guests throughout the journey offering his expertise and guidance along the way.
