The yacht charter company The Moorings is expanding its portfolio of destinations to include La Paz in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Situated just north of Cabo San Lucas on the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, La Paz is the ideal gateway to the Sea of Cortez. Dubbed “The World’s Aquarium” by oceanographer, filmmaker and author Jacques Cousteau, this region is a world of contrasts, with its remote, rugged landscape and marine life such as sea lions, whale sharks, manta rays, turtles, and more.
Available to book now for charters beginning in December 2024, The Moorings fleet in La Paz will feature a mix of both sailing catamarans and power catamarans, all designed and crafted by Leopard Catamarans.
“The launch of La Paz is an exciting addition to our North American charter offerings” says Ian Pedersen, senior marketing manager for The Moorings. “Driven largely by customer feedback, this new destination promises to be a favorite among guests looking for a truly secluded, nature-driven vacation experience. We are thrilled to begin this new venture and continue to expand our destination repertoire, providing a wide variety of charter experiences to guests from all over the world and every experience level.”
With non-stop flights available from a number of U.S. airports, this ease of access blends into a laid-back and overall remote charter experience, making La Paz the ideal destination for powerboaters and sailors alike to reconnect with nature.
