Paradise Vietnam is celebrating the creation of new infrastructure. That is because the South Asian country built a highway connecting capital city Hanoi and UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. It opened on the first day of September 2018. The new infrastructure is designed to cut the drive time between the northern destinations from four to two hours.
The VND $13 trillion (approximately $572 million) highway is one of two transportation projects in Quang Ninh Province. Just east of Halong City, a new international airport is scheduled to open to air traffic in December 2018.
This comes as Quang Ninh is expecting to host over 50 cultural, sports and tourism events as well as more than 11 million visitors this year.
Paradise has created a day-cruise promotion to celebrate the highway opening and attempt to encourage tourism to Halong Bay.
Available from now, the package includes roundtrip transfer by shuttle bus from Hanoi, lunch aboard Paradise Explorer and all sightseeing fees as well as any taxes and service charges.
Paradise was founded in 2008 and runs more than six luxury cruise ships in Halong Bay and the more than 150-room Paradise Suites and Paradise Trend hotels.
