Paul Gauguin Cruises has announced its “Moana Explorer Program” voyages for 2025, offering 11 summer and holiday sailings aboard m/s Paul Gauguin. The complimentary program is offered in collaboration with Te mana o te moana, a South Pacific marine education and conservation foundation. Geared towards children aged six to 15, the program is designed to engage youngsters with hands-on, interactive activities both onboard and ashore.
“In 2025, we will mark a milestone fifth year of our exclusive partnership with Te mana o te moana, which continues to offer our young explorers authentically enriching experiences throughout the Islands of Tahiti,” said Susan Robison, general manager, sales and marketing, for Paul Gauguin Cruises. “From learning about the care and protection of sea turtles, to playing beach ‘Survivor’ games to hiking volcanic mountains and snorkeling in pristine lagoons, the program goes far beyond the formulaic structure of traditional children’s programs and provides memories they will forever cherish.”
Depending on the itinerary, they might explore underwater life, conduct water experiments, create natural jewelry, go on a treasure hunt, learn about Tahitian culture, discover island legends and geology, design a Polynesian tattoo and more.
The “Moana Explorer Program” is available on the following summer and holiday voyages in 2025:
- Seven-night “Tahiti & the Society Islands” (June 14, July 26, August 23, 2025)
- Seven-night “More Society Islands & Tahiti” (July 5, August 2, August 30, 2025)
- 10-night “More Society Islands & Tuamotus” (June 4, 2025)

There is no fee for the program, which must be booked onboard, as it’s part of Paul Gauguin Cruises’ all-inclusive fares.
