Ponant has announced the latest addition to its fleet: the 78-foot Spirit of Ponant. Built in France, the six-stateroom catamaran will set sail in Corsica in July before heading to the Seychelles for winter 2024. The intimate vessel will be available as a private charter for week-long voyages as well as on a per-cabin basis on select itineraries, which the line touts as "a rarity for yachts of this scale."
Spirit of Ponant will sleep up to 12 guests and four crew, and will offer personalized service. Alongside access to a personal chef, guests can enjoy spacious staterooms and a range of activities such as paddle boarding, wakeboarding and snorkeling.
First setting sail in Corsica, sailing round-trip from Bonifacio, the seven-night voyages are completely customizable based on the traveler’s interests and each journey is co-created with the Captain’s recommendations. The vessel will then venture to the Seychelles for winter 2024, offering circumnavigations of Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago.
The full deployment of itineraries will be announced in the near future.
Spirit of Ponant joins Ponant’s fleet of 13 small-size ships, including the company’s first ship, a three-masted sailing yacht Le Ponant featuring just 16 staterooms, and the luxury icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot.
