Prana by Atzaró, the luxury hand-built super-yacht, has announced itineraries for 2023. At just over 180 feet in length and 36 feet wide, the yacht has been crafted in the style of a traditional Indonesian phinisi, a sailboat with two masts. It is built entirely of ironwood and teak, and has been created by the founders of Atzaró Group, the Ibiza-based hospitality brand.
Prana by Atzaró can accommodate up to 18 people in nine suites. Each en-suite cabin offers deep beds, rain showers, air conditioning and nautical design elements in solid teak wood, muted palettes and soft textures. It also has four decks with king-size daybeds, a yoga deck that doubles as an open-air cinema, a main deck with indoor-outdoor living spaces and an onboard spa.
The cuisine includes both Asian Fusion and Western dishes. Everything is made from local ingredients and served al fresco, in the dining room or "Robinson Crusoe-style"—on white sand beaches.
The 18-man crew includes a cruise director, dive instructor, chefs, stewards and therapists for treatments. Guests can learn to scuba dive with the yacht’s resident dive instructor or snorkel across volcanic vents. Alternatively, they can launch sea kayaks and paddle boards to explore the jungle-draped coastlines or go wakeboarding and water-skiing around lagoons. Fishing equipment is also supplied along with towable floats.
Komodo National Park is part of the lineup for 2023. Three big islands form Komodo National Park: Komodo Island, Rinca Island and Padar Island, plus a few other islets. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 772 square miles of protected wildlife, including roughly 5,700 Komodo dragons, wild boar, water buffalos, deer, horses, snakes, monkeys and marine life. At Komodo National Park, guests can get up close and personal with the lizards in their natural habitat, visit pink beaches, watch sunsets and explore coral reefs.
The Spice Islands, or Banda Islands/Maluku Islands, are an east Indonesian archipelago comprising two provinces, Maluku and North Maluku. The islands are known for their volcanoes and palm-lined beaches. Guests can marvel at the colonial architecture of Banda Besar, hike Mount Api, race the locals in their boats, spot whales and dolphins, and dive coral reefs thronging with marine life. They can also watch sunrises in front of the volcano and enjoy sunsets with cocktails served on white beaches framed by the rainforest.
Raja Ampat is located off the northwest tip of the Bird’s Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea. This region embraces over 1,500 islands surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo. Guests can cross the equator with giant manta rays, explore prehistoric caves, visit primordial tribes, go kayaking and discover dive sites famed for having the most species recorded in one spot.
Prana by Atzaró sails year-round, so destinations are seasonal. The yacht sails Komodo National Park from May to October, the Spice Islands in November and May and Raja Ampat from December to April. Rates are all-inclusive with all meals and snacks, beverages, laundry, internet, water sports, excursions and a complimentary 30-minute spa treatment.
The yacht can be chartered for private weddings and offers an ideal luxury honeymoon experience.
