Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a series of promotions within its North America Sales organization. These promotions come as part of a refreshed sales structure designed to support Regent’s continued growth in the ultra-luxury, all-inclusive cruise space.
Jerod Evans has been promoted to vice president of sales, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. In his new role, Evans will oversee the entire field sales and strategic accounts teams across North America. A seasoned sales leader, he has been instrumental in elevating the line’s presence across key markets. Shanel Knight has, additionally, been promoted to senior director, business development and national accounts. In this expanded role, Knight will lead both the national accounts and business development teams. All business development managers and a newly created manager, national accounts position will report directly to her. Lastly, Randall James has been promoted to manager, trade operations, and will now lead the account executives team, helping drive trade engagement and execution at the field level.
All three leaders will report to Shawn Tubman, senior vice president sales and trade marketing, North America. The promotions follow the departure of Eric Schmit, former director of national accounts and business development.
“I want to personally thank Eric for his years of dedication and meaningful contributions to Regent. He will certainly be missed, and we wish him nothing but the very best in his new opportunity,” said Tubman. “At the same time, I’m incredibly excited about this new leadership team and confident in the momentum they’ll bring as we continue building strong relationships with our travel advisor community.”
