Regent Seven Seas Cruises's Seven Seas Navigator is headed back to the seas following its two-week refurbishment in Brest, France. The 490-guest, all-suite ship is currently sailing on an 11-night, London-to-Dublin voyage.
Here are the new additions to the Seven Seas Navigator:
Restaurants
Prime 7, a Contemporary American steakhouse, is totally transformed. Dark imperial blue walls are accented with gold, light leather chairs and rich wood finishes. Large artwork, marble sculptures and patterned floors were also added.
Public Areas
The Navigator Lounge now has new furnishings providing more space for guests to have their drink, whether it be coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon. New carpet, new furniture and new wall coverings in light dusty rose and champagne tones highlighted with gold are displayed at Stars Lounge. At the Constellation Theater, cruisers can have cocktails at marble tables situated under evening dance floor lights.
To create a contemporary design on the staircases and in the Atrium, Seven Seas Navigator was upgraded with new carpeting, modern wall coverings and sleek metal. New Italian marble floors were installed on elevators and carpeting, and wall coverings were installed in all guest hallways. New artwork adorns the guest corridors.
Spa
Prior to receiving the treatment of their choice, guests walk into an entrance area featuring pebble-stone tiles that lead to a light wood spa desk. Both the treatment rooms and relaxation area have been updated. The beauty salon has been expanded, now featuring a dedicated pedicure and manicure area with top-to-bottom ocean views. At the top deck spa, services include hair treatments and make-up.
Guest Suites
Dark wood doors and new signage introduce the guestrooms. The in-suite closets now feature more chests and drawers for additional storage space. New carpeting was added to all suites along with fresh upholstery. Private balconies feature refinished teak wood.
Additional enhancements include a new infrared barbeque grill at the Pool Grill that extracts and wisps away smoke. New air conditioning and water pipes were installed throughout the entire vessel.
Since 2016, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has invested over $150 million to refurbish its fleet. The last Seven Seas Navigator refurbishment was in 2016. This latest investment has completely transformed the vessel from bow-to-stern.
In other Regent Seven Seas Cruises news, the company recently announced 65 new Mediterranean and Northern Europe shore excursions curated by local tour operators for cruisers on Seven Seas Splendor. Offerings span across nine countries.
