The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced the release of two additional voyages for Ilma, the second new-build yacht in its fleet.
Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, said: “The extension of our 2024 Mediterranean season aligns with the growing demand for immersive itineraries, providing more opportunities for unparalleled exploration and discovery in some of the world’s most enchanting destinations.”
Slated to make its inaugural voyage with a seven-night itinerary from Monte Carlo to Rome, embarking on September 2, 2024, Ilma invites travelers to enjoy an extended Mediterranean season, in response to robust demand for itineraries in the region. Highlights include Livorno, Florence, Cannes, Corsica’s Baroque churches and plazas, and Porto Cervo.
Another newly released seven-night itinerary departing September 9, 2024, sails from Rome to Athens. Passengers sail along the Italian Riviera, taking in the seaside in Taormina and Baroque architecture on display in Siracusa. Island hopping in the Greek Isles takes guests through the museums and churches in Monemvasia by day and later dancing the night away at Mykonos’ beach clubs.
The 448-guest Ilma will measure 790 feet and offer 224 suites, each with a private terrace. The new superyacht will include five restaurants, six bars, a wine vault, and signature spaces found on Evrima, such as an expanded marina with a new mezzanine and a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa.
