Seabourn has announced new itineraries to the Panama Canal, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Asia. Seabourn Quest will take guests to more than 40 ports of call to hidden harbors, marquee ports and must-visit destinations, including four new Japan-centric itineraries.
The itineraries, which range from 14 to 34 days, will offer overnight stays in port and many late evening departures. Following the conclusion of its “Canada & New England” season, Seabourn Quest will embark on an adventure through the Panama Canal, traversing the Hawaiian Islands, and reaching Auckland. From there, the ship will embark on four “Australia & New Zealand” itineraries, including a special holiday voyage, before venturing northward through the South China Sea to commence its exploration of Japan in the peak of cherry blossom season.
Itinerary highlights of Seabourn Quest include:
The 18-day “Panama Canal” itinerary commences on November 9, 2024. The voyage from Miami to Los Angeles will immerse travelers in vibrant cultures, colonial towns and the natural wonders of the region. Along the way, guests will discover the history of the Panama Canal and delve into the ancient Mayan culture. Stops include Cartagena, Puerto Chiapas, Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and Cabo San Lucas.
The “Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific” season aboard Seabourn Quest comprises five voyages from November 2024 to February 2025. With 39 ports of call, itineraries offer stops at ports that are only accessible to small ships, including Kaikoura, Oban (Half Moon Bay) and Phillip Island. From the beaches of Hawaii to the Fiordland National Park, guests can explore such destinations as the Great Barrier Reef and Diamondhead, or delve into the history and culture of small towns and villages. Embarking from Los Angeles, Auckland and Sydney, guests can select voyages ranging from 14 to 32 days, including three combination voyages.
With new itineraries focusing on Japan and Southeast Asian culture, Seabourn Quest’s “2025 Spring Asia” season runs from March through April. The voyages range from 14 to 34 days with options to combine itineraries. Guests will explore the northernmost and southernmost islands of Japan. Select voyages will offer the chance to sail Japan’s Seto Inland Sea—an exclusive experience for small ships. Seabourn will also offer a 20-day “Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay” voyage April 2025. This itinerary will immerse guests in the cultural festivities of “Golden Week” in Japan and bring them to Alaska during a less-crowded early season to enjoy the scenery and wildlife.
