Silversea has opened general sales for the inaugural season of its new ship Silver Endeavour. The expedition vessel will offer 12 voyages to Antarctica starting November 21, 2022. Cruises range from five to 20 days and include Silversea’s Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, an extended “Deep South” expedition and a new 10-day Antarctic Peninsula voyage. Silversea has also unveiled the ship’s seven suite categories.
Running until March 14, 2023, Silver Endeavour’s inaugural season will comprise 12 immersive voyages. The ship will offer 10 Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, including its maiden voyage, from November 21. Silversea’s Antarctica Bridge enables travelers to skip the Drake Passage, flying directly to King George Island to embark the ship. Travelers will journey deep into Antarctica on voyages between five and nine days, exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, the Antarctic Sound and the South Shetland Islands. Conrad Combrink, Silversea’s SVP expeditions, destination and itinerary management, will accompany guests on the inaugural voyage. Additionally, 20 expedition experts—including marine biologists, historians, naturalists and archeologists—will share their knowledge with guests on each voyage aboard Silver Endeavour.
Departing round-trip from Puerto Williams on February 12, 2023, Silver Endeavour will journey to the South Shetland Islands, the Antarctic Sound and the Antarctic Peninsula before attempting to cross the 69th parallel south on Silversea’s first-ever 20-day “Deep South” expedition.
Concluding Silver Endeavour’s inaugural season in Antarctica, guests will set sail on a new 10-day voyage to the Antarctic Peninsula, departing round-trip from Puerto Williams on March 4, 2023. Spending six days exploring the peninsula during this variation of Silversea’s peninsula voyages, travelers can spot penguin colonies, different seal species and other marine life. Silver Endeavour’s amenities will enhance the experience for guests with its remote gimbal camera system and its remotely operated underwater vehicle.
Silversea has unveiled seven suite categories for Silver Endeavour. The 1,868-square-foot Owner’s Suite, located at the ship’s bow on deck seven, has a large living room, separate dining room, bar area, and two bedrooms with bathrooms. The 1,668-square-foot Grand Suite, also positioned at the bow on deck seven, has a balcony spanning 684 square feet and a spacious interior comprising a living room, dining area, bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom. An additional bedroom area can accommodate a third guest.
Eight Silver Suites spanning 535 square feet welcome guests on deck eight, with floor-to-ceiling windows in all living areas and 78-square-foot balconies. The Silver Suite’s interior comprises a living room, dining area, bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom.
There are 90 Premium, Deluxe, Superior, and Classic Veranda Suites between decks five and eight.
