We've got a sneak peek at Silversea Cruises' newest ship, the 596-passenger Silver Muse, which sailed into Port Everglades last week as part of the ship's American debut.
Top luxury cruise sellers, VIP guests and media toured the ship and stayed overnight as the 40,700-passenger ship sailed to Bimini, the Bahamas.
Here's a photo tour of our one-bedroom Silver Suite, #1010, which has 786 square feet of space.
Entering the suite, guests walk down a hallway, home to an entry mirror and small shelf. Also in this corridor is a door to a half-bathroom with toilet and sink.
Reaching the main living area, guests will see a dining table with chairs, a separate desk area, a large flatscreen, wall-mounted entertainment system, and a mini-bar/coffee station.
The comfortable living room seating area consists of two side tables with lamps, a comfortable sofa (converting to a pull-out bed), two chairs and a coffee table. A nice touch is the World Atlas on the table.
This suite is bathed in natural light as two sliding glass doors lead to a large, elongated balcony with teak flooring. Guests can relax outside with a book or drink as the balcony has two comfortable loungers, plus an outdoor table and two chairs.
The Silver Suite's bedroom is adjacent to the living room and accessible via pocket doors. The bedroom has a king bed, two small end tables, a wall-mounted, flatscreen TV and a make-up vanity with a large wall mirror and long drawer.
Around the corner is a large walk-in closet. It offers plenty of hanging space, two soft robes for guest use, and multiple shelves for storing clothing. Nearby is a separate cupboard with two doors; the top drawer contains a personal safe.
Guests then step up from the bedroom/closet areas into the marble bathroom, which has dual sinks; a deep soaking/whirlpool tub; and a separate rainforest shower with seat.
A separate door leads to a marble compartment with a toilet and sink. It's the same half-bath encountered off the entry hallway. It has two doors.
The ship's Silver Suites are on Deck 9, the same deck as the Panorama Lounge; Deck 10, home to the Pool Bar and Grill; and Deck 11, adjacent to Tor's Observation Library and the jogging track.
Stay tuned for an upcoming look at the Silver Muse Owner's Suite, as well as the spa and other public spaces onboard the luxury ship.
