Silversea Expeditions' Silver Explorer will travel through the Americas from north of Ushuaia, "the city at the end of the world," up the Pacific coastline to Vancouver. Set to sail in 2018, the seven new voyages will offer guests the chance to explore ancient history as well as landscapes and wildlife with experts, many of whom have advance degrees in their field.

From the "End of the World" to the "Jewel of the Pacific," guests will be able to see landscapes ranging from the unique streets and buildings of Ushuaia to Patagonia's lakes, glaciers, mountains and fjords. History buffs will enjoy the wooden churches of Chiloé while nature lovers will find their place at the Torres del Paine National Park.
Valparaiso to Callao (Lima), 10 Days, March 11 - 21 (Voyage 7805)
Guests are offered a complimentary excursion to see the Nazca Lines from the air, plus local boat excursions to the Ballestas Islands to spot cormorants, blue-footed boobies, terns, pelicans and Humboldt penguins. There is an optional overnight on land to the Atacama Desert.
Callao (Lima) to Fuerte Amador (Panama City), 14 Days, March 21 - April 4 (Voyage 7806)
There are four destinations on this voyage: Puerto Quepos, renowned for its wildlife including over 100 mammals and bird species in the Manuel Antonio National Park; Golfo Dulce, known for its biodiversity in Costa Rica; Isla de Coiba, a former Panama prison turned paradise island; and Panama City, a cultural hub and cosmopolitan capital. Guests will also travel through Panama's Darién Jungle and explore one of the world's most diverse ecosystems.
Fuerte Amador (Panama City) to Puerto Quetzal, 12 Days, April 4 - 16 (Voyage 7807)
The journey takes guests along the the Pacific coast of Central America to encounter exotic plants, rare wildlife, and indigenous people rarely seen by the outside world.
Mazatlán to San Diego, 11 Days, April 21- May 2 (Voyage 7808)
A UNESCO protected biosphere, the Sea of Cortez is home to marine mammals including whales, dolphins and sea lions. Remote islands line the sea with massive canyons and deep arroyos, explorers can find endemic iguanas, songbirds and jackrabbits living on cacti and succulents growing on rugged rocky coasts that are rich with seabirds, including the charismatic blue-footed booby. Included is an overnight excursion featuring a journey by train to the Copper Canyon.
San Diego to Vancouver, 11 Days, May 2 - 13 (Voyage 7809)
Exploring the west coast, the ships’ guests will explore national parks and small towns. Great for those looking to hike, opportunities to climb Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier are available.
Vancouver to San Francisco, 9 Days, May 13 - 22 (Voyage 7810)
Guests will explore the famous towering redwoods of Eureka and whale watch from two new destinations, Anacortes and Cypress Island.
