Silversea Debuts S.A.L.T. Program and a New Lifestyle Experience on Silver Spirit Following Dry Dock

Silversea has completed its revitalization of Silver Spirit, enhancing the onboard experience with refreshed public spaces and an expanded culinary offering. With the brand's signature S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) program deepening cultural and culinary connections to each destination, the enhancements also introduce a renewed, lifestyle‑focused approach to dining and leisure on board.

“The completion of Silver Spirit’s revitalization marks an important milestone for our fleet,” said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea. “As the ship returns to service, we’re giving our guests a renewed onboard experience—one that blends relaxed sophistication, immersive dining, and destination‑driven discovery. From refreshed spaces to refined culinary experiences, every update was thoughtfully designed to elevate how our guests spend their time on board, as Silver Spirit embarks on immersive voyages through Northern Europe.”

Riviera: A New Lifestyle‑led Poolside Experience

Silversea is introducing an all‑new poolside concept onboard Silver Spirit, inspired by the Mediterranean’s coastal locales. Riviera is designed as an all-day destination that flows from relaxed mornings to vibrant evenings. Key elements of the concept include:

  • A rhythm that reflects the journey: Riviera is designed to evolve with the pace of the day. Mornings are calm and restorative, creating space for wellness rituals, energizing drinks, and quiet moments by the pool. As the day unfolds, the atmosphere becomes more social and lively, supported by curated music and casual dining, before transitioning into relaxed, social evenings under the stars.
  • Relaxed poolside dining: Dining at Riviera is designed for easy, all‑day enjoyment with a menu of light fare and casual favorites, including fresh salads, wraps, burgers, plant‑based options, and seafood dishes. Inclusive offerings are complemented by premium selections.
  • Beverages inspired by Mediterranean living: Drawing from the cafés, vineyards, and seaside bars of the Mediterranean, Riviera’s beverage menu features spritzes and poolside cocktails, alongside curated selections of white wines, rosés, light to medium‑bodied reds, and Champagne. A range of low‑ and non‑alcoholic options are also available for wellness‑minded guests.
  • An active, open-air deck: Riviera also includes an enhanced outdoor experience. Upgraded outdoor furniture, sun loungers, daybeds, and umbrellas create comfortable spaces for relaxation. Added activities and wellness options—such as a golf putting green, “Off the Deck” golf simulator and hitting bay, and expanded fitness offerings encourage guests to stay engaged, active.

Complementing Riviera, guests sailing aboard the revitalized Silver Spirit will also experience culinary immersion through the brand’s award-winning S.A.L.T. program for the first time. New venues on board include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, offering destination-inspired menus, S.A.L.T. Bar, which serves regional spirits and custom cocktails, and S.A.L.T. Lab, where guests can deepen their appreciation of the destination.
