Silversea’s guests experienced a bespoke two-day experience for the Monaco Grand Prix 2019 on May 25 and 26 at the Princess Grace Dance Academy. The event—offered as an optional shore experience to guests aboard Silver Shadow—included a Mediterranean lunch and other amenities.
Silversea’s guests were able sip champagne, listen to live music, and admire motorsports-inspired artwork in the gardens and on the terraces of the villa. They also sampled local cuisine from a buffet and witnessed the race from the top floor of the venue.
Massages, nail treatments, 3D body photography, and other amenities were also on offer for guests. A racing simulator allowed guests to compete virtually on the streets of Monaco. They also had the chance to meet racing driver Felipe Massa, who attended the venue on Sunday.
This experience will be available again. In May 2020, Silver Spirit will call in Monte Carlo overnight from May 23, with the following voyage options available:
- Venice to Barcelona – May 5-26, 2020
- Rome (Civitavecchia) to Barcelona – May 17-26, 2020
Guests who book and pay for the above voyages in full by June 28, 2019, will benefit from a 10 percent early booking bonus on the overall price of their voyage. The exclusive Grand Prix experience is offered as an optional extra.
