Silversea Cruises has announced the details for five inaugural itineraries for its newest ship, the Silver Dawn. The Fincantieri-built, 586-guest vessel will depart Civitavecchia (Rome) on September 22, 2021, marking the 10th ship in Silversea’s fleet and spending its inaugural season in the Mediterranean, before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale.
Part of Silversea’s new collection of voyages for summer 2021 and winter 2021 - 2022, Silver Dawn’s inaugural season will include the following itineraries:
Civitavecchia (Rome) to Venice – September 22-October 1, 2021
The Silver Dawn’s inaugural voyage will spend nine nights traveling through Italy, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia. Following their departure from Rome, travelers will enjoy an overnight in Sorrento before heading to Siracusa in Sicily. Next up will be another overnight in Corfu before calls at Kotor, Dubrovnik and Split. The cruise ends in Venice on October 1, 2021.
Venice – Piraeus (Athens) – October 1-October 13, 2021
This 12-night itinerary exploring the Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean will include calls at Split, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Argostoli on Cephalonia, Souda Bay in Crete and Rhodes, as well as an overnight in Istanbul. After that, the ship will visit Dikili and Kusadasi before arriving in Athens.
Piraeus (Athens) to Barcelona – October 13-October 23, 2021
This 10-night itinerary visits Greece, Malta, Italy, Monaco and Spain with calls in Santorini, Valletta, Giardini Naxos (Taormina) in Sicily, Sorrento, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Livorno. There will also be an overnight call in Monte Carlo before the ship arrives in Barcelona.
Barcelona to Lisbon – October 23-November 2, 2021
Over the course of 10 nights in Spain, Morocco and Portugal, the ship will call at Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Cartagena, Malaga and Cadiz, as well as Casablanca, Tangier and Lisbon.
Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale – November 2-November 15, 2021
This 13-night sailing will mark the ship’s inaugural crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, with an overnight call in San Juan.
