Silversea Cruises is providing an exclusive cruise onboard the reimagined 388-guest Silver Shadow, hosted by Mark Conroy, managing director of The Americas, and Peter Shanks, UK and Ireland managing director. This preview sailing in the Caribbean will depart December 10, 2019.
Silver Shadow’s extensive renovation is inspired by the design of Silversea’s flagship Silver Muse and includes the creation of a new Atrium area on Deck 5, which will host the Arts Café, along with changes to many public spaces, such as the remodeling and enlarging of La Dame restaurant, extensive renovation of Connoisseur's Corner and a remodeling of the Observation Library.
The ship's guest suites will undergo a top-to-bottom renovation. Fixed and loose furniture in the Veranda suites will be completely renovated, along with new lighting, carpets and headboards. New sinks and Silestone material will be available in the bathrooms. Silver Shadow’s Medallion, Silver, Grand and Royal Suites will get a new color scheme and new materials, like Silver Muse, while bathrooms will also undergo refurbishments.
By hopping aboard Silver Shadow for this voyage, guests can discover Caribbean hotspots like Roseau with its distinctive architecture, witness the pitons of St. Lucia or swim in St. John’s Cruz Bay. On Silver Shadow, guests can interact with Peter Shanks and Mark Conroy through events on board and discover more about Silversea.
The nine-night cruise departs December 10, 2019, from San Juan and ports of call include Basseterre (St. Kitts), Roseau (Dominica), St. George’s (Grenada), Castries (St Lucia), St. John’s (Antigua and Barbuda), St. John (U.S. Virgin Islands) and Fort Lauderdale. Fares include free economy class air roundtrip, as with all of Silversea’s Caribbean voyages.
Guests who book and pay for their cruise before August 30, will benefit from a one-category suite upgrade and $1,000 shipboard credit per suite. Plus, all guests who book this cruise by July 31, will receive a free shore excursion in every port on this sailing. In addition, Venetian Society members can save a total of 10 percent.
Venetian Society members can now purchase tickets for more than 50 new winter 2020-21 voyages by Silversea Cruises. The sailings will comprise the Caribbean, springtime in Asia, and both Australia and South America on circumnavigation itineraries.
