Silversea Cruises has announced a new program with Allianz Global Assistance to offer travel protection to its guests.
Silversea guests who purchase the Allianz travel protection program for their cruise may be eligible to receive benefits that include reimbursement for covered trip cancellations and interruptions. In the event of a covered medical emergency, guests may also have access to 24/7 travel assistance and primary emergency medical coverage as well as emergency medical transportation coverage. Travel delays and baggage issues may also be covered and are eligible for Allianz’s "no receipts" fixed payments.
Starting October 1, 2019, the Allianz travel protection program will be available for Silversea guests residing in the U.S. Offerings for guests in other countries may be available at a later date.
