Star Clippers has announced its fall/winter 2026-27 season and made more than 50 departures available to book. The season, beginning in October and running through late March, offers guests an assortment of sailings in the Caribbean, Costs Rica, Panama and Colombia, as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings and holiday escapes.
The small-ship line's 2026 16-day westbound Atlantic crossings include Royal Clipper departing Lisbon for the journey to Bridgetown, Barbados, on October 16; Star Flyer departing Las Palmas on its sailing to St. Maarten on November 13; and Star Clipper sailing from Las Palmas on November 20 to takes guests to Bridgetown before it makes its way to a Panama Canal sailing.
Royal Clipper, the world’s largest five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service, offers 227 guests an opportunity to experience Panama Canal crossings reminiscent of some of the first vessels to sail through the famed canal, as well as stops in Colombia’s Cartagena de Indias and Santa Marta. The two 14-night departures sail October 31 from Barbados and November 14 from Balboa, Panama. The Grenadines and Windward Islands fill in the rest of the season’s schedule with port calls in Antigua, Barbados, St. Kitts and others.
Star Clipper will spend the first half of the season sailing the coastlines of Costa Rica and Panama. These itineraries take guests to beaches on Isla Tortuga, Costa Rica and “deserted islands” such as Isla San Jose in the Pearl Islands. From February on, the 166-guest clipper ship will explore the islands of the Grenadines and the culture of Antigua as well as Martinique, St. Lucia, Tobago and Barbados.
The 166-guest Star Flyer sails out of St. Maarten round-trip on two different seven-night itineraries. The "Leeward Islands" itinerary offers Guadeloupe’s natural underwater experience, Martinique’s history and French culture, and a boat ride traversing a rainforest in Cabrits, Dominica. The "Treasure Islands" sailings call on ports in the BVI as well as Anguilla, St. Barth's and St. Kitts.
Guests can spend the Christmas holiday or ring in the New Year sailing from island to island in the Caribbean. Star Clippers offers multiple such sailings. Star Flyer will offer "Leeward Christmas" (celebrating Christmas in St. Barth's) and "Treasure New Year" (with New Year’s Eve split between two ports in St. Kitts). Star Clipper takes guests from Panama to Costa Rica for Christmas and in reverse for New Year’s Eve—with both holidays enjoyed in Islas Tortugas, Costa Rica. Royal Clipper will sail round-trip from Barbados with its "Windward Christmas" and "Grenadines New Year" itineraries, celebrating a beach Christmas in Martinique and New Year’s Day in St. Lucia.
