Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has introduced "Nights Out" evening experiences for 2022 throughout Europe. The five excursions are private offerings for Uniworld guests, and showcase select European cities in a new light. These experiences will be implemented into Uniworld’s all-inclusive itineraries. For 2023, "Nights Out" excursions will be included on all of Uniworld's European cruises.
In 2022, "Nights Out" collection will showcase Vienna, Venice, Basel, Amsterdam and Cochen. On the "Enchanting Danube" itinerary, Uniworld guests will spend an evening discovering legendary composers Mozart and Strauss’ hometown of Vienna with a private concert highlighting their best works. The concert will be held in Albert Hall, one of the best venues in Vienna known for its incredible acoustics and stunning architecture.
The "Milan, Venice & the Gems of Northern Italy" itinerary will give guests an opportunity to explore St. Mark's Basilica, after-hours sans the crowds. Led by an art historian, Uniworld guests will learn the history behind the ninth-century church famed as the "Church of Gold," originally built to house relics featuring incredible interiors, jewels and more than 85,000 square feet of mosaics created primarily with gold.
On the "Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland" itinerary, travelers will discover the tradition of Swiss brewing with a private experience at one of the oldest factories in Europe. Available on the Amsterdam to Basel route of the itinerary, travelers will visit Feldschlösschen Brewery—a Swiss landmark with 145 years of history—complete with its original copper brewing barrels, and have the opportunity to sample brews along the way.
The "Dutch Delight" itinerary will take guests on an intimate boat ride along Amsterdam’s canals with unique surprise entertainment stops that showcase the culture and talents of the destination and its locals.
On the "Rhine, Moselle & Blissful Baden Baden" itinerary, guests will spend an evening 328 feet above the Moselle River at Cochem Castle, which is also known as "Pearl of the Moselle." Formerly used as a fortress that would house 40 to 50 thousand knights at a time, the castle is perched on a mountain surrounded by vineyards. Guests can enjoy a private reception in the Baroque-era castle featuring a musical performance and wine variety native to the region.
