Viking has announced that 14 new ocean itineraries exploring the Mediterranean, United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia in 2026 and 2027 are now open for booking. Ranging from 15 to 36 days, each of the new voyages combines two or more of Viking’s most popular itineraries to allow for more in-depth exploration.
Viking’s new ocean voyages visit celebrated cultural capitals—as well as emerging destinations—throughout Europe and beyond and include the following:
- "Jewels of the Mediterranean" (15 days; Rome round-trip)—Guests will explore the landmarks of Italy, Tunisia, Spain and France as they embark on a voyage through the Mediterranean Sea. Palermo’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sicily, the Amalfi Coast and an immersion in Sardinian culture are all a highlight of this itinerary. Guests will also sail to Tunisia’s La Goulette, call at Valencia, visit Monte Carlo and stroll the streets of Sète. Overnights in Barcelona and Florence allow one to explore more.
- "Gems of the Mediterranean" (15 days; Barcelona round-trip)—Guests will experience the best of Spain, Italy and France during a 15-day journey. They will see Valencia’s architecture and the historic sites of La Goulette, trace the shores of Sardinia and the Amalfi coast and take in the ruins of Rome, and stroll the streets of Florence and Pisa. Monte Carlo, Marseille and the lesser-known Sète are some of the other highlights of the itinerary.
- "Spain, Portugal & the Mediterranean" (15 days; Lisbon to Rome)—This cruise circumnavigates the Iberian Peninsula, calling at Lisbon and Andalusian gems. Guests will visit Barcelona and its sights, including the Sagrada Familía. Additionally, it presents guests with an opportunity to discover Sète, enjoy its beachside vistas, and see Monte Carlo. An overnight in Florence is also included.
- "Iconic Western Europe" (19 days; London to Barcelona)—In London, the cruise will visit the English capital’s royal landmarks. The itinerary also includes visits to Paris and the wine-growing region of Bordeaux. On the Iberian Peninsula, the cruise calls at Bilbao, Porto and Lisbon. Guests will see renowned architecture in Seville, Tangier and Granada, and take in the beaches of Mallorca.
- "From Iberia to the Northern Lights" (20 days; Barcelona to Tromso)—This itinerary gives guests a chance to trace the Iberian Peninsula during the quiet season and experience Spain’s mild winter climate. They will explore the legacy of Moorish culture at the Alhambra Palace and delve into Roman history in Cartagena. The itinerary also calls at London and travels through the landscapes of Norway as they search for the aurora borealis.
- "Mediterranean & Atlantic Crossing" (21 days; Rome to San Juan)—Guests on this itinerary will explore ancient sites in Rome, admire Florence’s Renaissance architecture and discover Monte Carlo. The itinerary also includes visits to Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville. Other highlights include a trip to Madeira—known for its namesake wine and unique landscapes—and the Caribbean islands of St. Martin and Puerto Rico.
- "Adriatic & Mediterranean Discovery" (22 days; Venice to Lisbon)—This voyage explores the heritage of the Adriatic and the Western Mediterranean. Guests will experience the cities of Iberia and the French Riviera. Wandering through Renaissance and Roman treasures along Italy’s western coast and marveling at historic ports along Adriatic shores are among the top draws. The cruise also includes overnights in Venice, Barcelona, Florence, and Lisbon.
- "Iberia & Mediterranean Antiquities" (22 days; Lisbon to Athens)—From the grand architecture of Seville, Tangier, and Granada to Palma’s storied beaches, bustling Barcelona, historic Rome, glittering Monte Carlo, and Marseille, guests on this itinerary will see some of the world’s most important ancient sites during a sojourn to Mediterranean shores. The cruise will overnight in Lisbon, Barcelona, Florence and Athens.
- "British Isles & Viking Shores" (22 days; London to Amsterdam)—Guests on this itinerary will discover Scotland’s rugged Highlands and admire the scenic cliff tops of Ireland. Other highlights include Liverpool and London. The cruise will also traverse the North Sea and follow in the footsteps of the Vikings, calling at Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo. It overnights in Bergen, giving travelers more time to enjoy Norway’s fjords and maritime heritage.
- "Viking Homelands, Shores & Fjords" (22 days; Stockholm to Amsterdam)—Guests on this itinerary get a chance to journey through the Baltic Sea, follow ancient trade routes of the Viking Age, and call at prominent cities of the Hanseatic League. The cruise also offers an opportunity to explore the UNESCO-listed old town of Tallinn and immerse themselves in Scandinavia’s cultural legacy, with overnights in Copenhagen, Oslo and Bergen.
- "Iberia, the Mediterranean & Aegean" (29 days; Lisbon to Istanbul)—This itinerary visits Lisbon, Seville, Tangier and Granada. Also on offer are Cartagena’s Roman ruins, strolls along Palma’s beaches, and a call at Marseille. Monte Carlo, Rome and Crete are among other highlights, while Lisbon, Barcelona, Florence, Istanbul and Athens are all overnight calls.
- "Iceland, Norway & British Isles" (29 days; Reykjavik to London)—Sailing through the remote territories of Svalbard and Jan Mayen, they will immerse themselves in nature and encounter majestic wildlife. The rugged and unspoiled landscapes of Iceland’s volcanic regions, the coastal towns of Norway, and the history and traditions of Britain and its islands will be other highlights of the journey.
- "Mediterranean Explorer" (30 days; Athens to Lisbon)—This cruise journeys through the Mediterranean. Guests will wander through Greece’s ancient ruins, trace the Adriatic coast to explore its maritime heritage, and uncover Italy’s Roman roots. Also featured are the Côte d'Azur and the Iberian Peninsula. The cruise overnights in five cities.
- "Grand Mediterranean Explorer" (36 days; Lisbon to Istanbul)—The cruise will call at Iberia’s vibrant ports, trace the French Riviera and circumnavigate Italy’s boot. Travelers will also have the chance to discover the legacy of the Venetian Republic and the Hellenic Empire. The cruise overnights in six cities.
