Windstar Cruises Unveils 2025-26 Winter Mediterranean Voyages

Windstar Cruises has announced its 2025-26 off-season winter Mediterranean voyages and sail dates, including six unique itineraries plus six Star Collectors (combination) sailings. All sailings will be offered aboard the 312-guest, all-suite Star Legend. The cruises will depart from Athens, Barcelona, Malaga, Rome or Venice from November 2025 through March 2026.

The line’s winter sailings highlight ports that the small ship cruise line doesn’t normally visit during the summer, such as Valencia, Spain; Crotone, Italy; and Catania, Sicily, Italy. A range of shore excursions will be available to book in each port. Guests can also savor treats from the region’s Christmas markets in winter. The itineraries include:

  • Myths & Marvels of the Aegean (eight days)
  • A Piece of Greece, a Slice of Sicily, & the Corinth Canal (eight days)
  • Southern Spain Winter Escapes (seven days)
  • Europe Winter Riviera (seven days)
  • Winter in Italy & the Dalmatian Coast (eight days)
  • Winter in Italy & the Adriatic (eight days)
  • Star Collectors (ranging from 14 to 24 days)

Windstar’s 2025-26 season also debuts a new port: Genoa, Italy. Guests can visit a maritime museum, experience the biggest aquarium in Europe or wander the Palazzi dei Rolli, a group of palaces from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The season includes overnights in Dubrovnik, Venice, Nice, Barcelona, Malaga, and Livorno (Florence).

Along with the opening of new sailings, Windstar is offering an Early Booking Offer, which includes a $200 onboard credit per stateroom plus a complimentary upgrade to All-Inclusive Fares. This means Wi-Fi; gratuities; and unlimited beer, wine, and cocktails are provided at no additional charge. The offer is valid until October 31, 2025.

Additionally, Winter Mediterranean sailings departing from December through February are part of Windstar’s Star Group Sailings incentive program, where group leaders (aka tour conductors) can earn one free berth for every seven sold. Typically, tour conductor credit is set at one free for every nine sold. The groups offer also includes a 10 percent savings beyond the listed fare, a guest amenity of $100 per person shipboard credit, and a $100 per person Travel Advisor Bonus Commission with Tour Conductor Credit earned.
