London's hotels are home to some of the best bars and restaurants in the world - so it's no surprise that come December 31, these are also where you'll find some of the capital's most vibrant New Year's Eve parties. From river views of the fireworks and top DJs to burlesque shows, Moulin Rouge themed soirées and black-tie dinner galas, these are the places to be for NYE 2018/19 – the icing on the festive cake being, of course, that if you can't face the journey home after, you can spend the night.
All the events listed below still had availability at time of publication.
Red Rooster at The Curtain, Shoreditch
The Curtain 's Red Rooster, where Harlem meets Shoreditch, is transforming into 'Beat Easy' for NYE 2018 - a 1950s-style speakeasy, with dress from this era actively encouraged. Dine on southern American fare with an upmarket twist, such as devilled eggs with caviar, or chicken and waffles with Rooster sauce, before partying to a live performance by Kamaal Williams and DJ sets. £125, including three courses, a glass of Veuve Clicquot and entrance to the party; redroosterldn.com .

If you want to really make this New Year's Eve a night to remember, head to The Lanesborough, which will be hosting its own 'House Party' throughout the whole hotel. There'll be no warm wine in paper cups here - the event is in collaboration with Moët & Chandon, and there will be live music and DJs across public spaces including the Belgravia Ballroom, Library Room bar and Michelin-starred Céleste restaurant, which be transformed into a nightclub. The dress code? 'Fabulous'. Tickets from £250, including food and a glass of Moët; oetkercollection.com .
