Beyond Cruises has announced a new Kenya and Seychelles itinerary inspired by the Disney remake of “The Lion King.” The combination will include a Kenya Safari, where guests can explore the filming locations of “The Lion King,” followed by island hopping in the Seychelles aboard the mega yacht Pegasos.
Highlights from the itinerary include:
Kenya Safari
On the five-day Kenya Safari, guests will explore Masai Mara National Park, one of the filming locations of “The Lion King,” and visit game-viewing locations including Nakuru National Park. The itinerary will also include daily game drives to spot some of “The Lion King’s” famous animals, such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos in a 4x4 vehicle. Additionally, guests can book an optional Balloon Safari which includes a champagne breakfast.
Seychelles - Island Hopping
After a short flight from Nairobi to Mahe, Seychelles, guests will depart from Port Victoria to begin a seven-night exploration of the Indian Ocean aboard the 21-cabin Pegasos. Guests will see Giant Aldabra Tortoises in the Mangrove forests of Curieuse Island as well as be able to swim and snorkel at Anse Lazio beach on Praslin. In addition to underwater discoveries, guests can walk through the rainforest at Vallee de Mai, where they can see fauna and flora including the rare black parrots and Coco de Mer palm trees.
