See Scotland from a different perspective this summer: on the water. Wilderness Scotland has launched a Sea Kayaking Adventure as part of its new itineraries for 2017.
The new tour provides essential paddling instructions in addition to accommodations, unique culinary options and a guided exploration of the Scottish coast. The guide to guest ratio is one guide per four guests, and tours won’t exceed eight participants per departure to ensure as much hands on experience as possible. The small groups will allow plenty of time for individual coaching from guides and give the group new seaworthy skills and a new take on the Scottish destination.
The five night tour will explore inlets, beaches and whitewashed villages of Scotland’s Northwest Highlands. Guests can expect to explore sheltered sea lochs and remote bays, as well as uninhabited islands – ideal for eagle, dolphin and otter sightings.
Wilderness Scotland is Scotland’s only five-star accredited adventure travel company, with tours designed to provide adventure in comfort. Guests of the Sea Kayaking Adventure will check into a traditional Torridon Inn, known for its local, hearty meals and cozy rooms.
Other highlights of the trip include watching the sunset from Shieldaig, fresh seafood dining in Applecross and a rest day for guests to explore on their own or take in the view from above.
The trip will debut May 13, 2017 and return May 18, with additional departures available throughout June, July and August that year.
