Niquesa Travel is launching two new journeys—Rio Carnival with exclusive access and a behind-the-scenes look at the wines of Bordeaux.
The World's Greatest Party: Rio Carnival
Travelers can be part of the Rio Carnival with a new immersive Rio Carnival experience from Niquesa Travel. Highlights could include riding one of the floats or dancing with the Samba Queen.
Attend Rio Carnival right from the heart of the celebrations between Saturday, March, 2 and Saturday, March 9 2019 for a cultural immersion and opportunity to be a part of one of the biggest festivals in the world. Travelers can ride atop a float during the Main Schools’ Parade amongst thousands of spectators, and flying over by helicopter, they can witness the scale of the Carnival, colorful displays and landmarks of the city. And they can start the celebrations with a VIP golden ticket to the Copacabana Ball on the opening night.
The itinerary may be adapted for couples, friends or families to suit (parents can watch as their under-14s perform in the Children’s Parade from the Carnival seats in the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí). Guests can take home a new skill with the opportunity to experience a private Samba lesson with the Queen dancer to the beat of the master drummer.
For post-carnival replenishment, guests may extend their itinerary to savor a change of pace. Natural beauty, clear lagoons and empty shorelines await on one of Angra dos Reis’ 365 islands. Guest can experience fully staffed, private villa and discover the marine life and crystalline waters, setting sail in a Phantom 500 boat for a day.
Ahead of departure and during each expedition, available is the 24/7 service of a Niquesa personal assistant who may assist with any requirement, from chartering a private jet to arranging a house-sitter while guests travel.
The World’s Greatest Party itinerary is available to book during the Carnival dates of Saturday, March 2 to Saturday, March 9 or Friday, February 21 to Wednesday, February 26, 2020. A version of this itinerary can also be arranged in the run up to the Carnival during the rehearsals stage.
Vinotherapy for Valentine’s: A Wine & Gastronomic Discovery of Bordeaux
Travelers can sample some of the most exclusive bottles of wine in Bordeaux and bike through the countryside landscapes that belong to France’s famed wine-growing region. They can also visit a privately owned and invitation-only estate, exclusive cellars and vineyards and private tastings at some of the area’s vineyard estates.
Guests can check out Arcachon Bay and its beaches from a Riva Yacht that is privately chartered. They can meet an oyster farmer and sample the Arcachon Bay oysters over an ocean-view lunch. Niquesa Travel may also arrange visits to local, ethical caviar farms for guests to source their own caviar and discover the intricacies of the process.
Residing at the five-star lakeside hotel Les Sources De Caudalie among the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, guests will have further opportunity to sample local produce and encounter artisans hard at work. Tip: Grape-based spa treatments await in the hotel’s Vinothérapie Spa.
Ahead of departure and during each expedition, travelers can benefit from the 24/7 service of a Niquesa personal assistant who may assist with any requirement while guests travel.
