From January 10 to 14, 2018, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for the tenth year in a row will play host to the annual Cayman Cookout. The event was originally created by the famous chef Eric Ripert, co-owner of Le Bernardin in New York City to celebrate food and wine at the luxurious beachfront location.
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman itself spans 144 acres along Seven Mile Beach to the North Sound on Grand Cayman Island. The 375-room resort has a La Prairie spa, the island’s largest ballroom, an interactive culinary studio, The Courts tennis center, a nine-hole golf course, the Starfish Cay water park and the Oculus glass bottom boat.
Guests to this prestigious event will see cooking demonstrations, experience food tastings and wine pairings, go on culinary tours and have gourmet dinners, all in a Caribbean setting of barefoot elegance. The event is hosted in partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
Those who wish to attend the event can book the “Cayman Cookout” package from The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, which starts at $1,169 per night with a four-night minimum stay required. The package includes overnight accommodations, daily continental breakfast for two at Seven Restaurant and tickets for two to the Cookout’s Wine Fair and Barbecue events. Online ticket sales for Cayman Cookout 2018 open on October 1, 2017.
