Have you been following the #PFW buzz? Paris Fashion Week has brought an influx of jetsetting fashionistas to the French capital to check out the shows and also sample the best of the city scene. Among the hot new openings? A new Sisley spa and boutique—the first in Paris for the upscale French beauty brand—where the in-crowd can unwind after long days (and nights) on the town. As reported by WWD, the 4,000-square-foot space is situated off the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, and has five treatment rooms for skincare.
Madame Figaro describes it as a “haven of good taste”—with an imaginative décor inspired by Sisley co-founder Isabelle d’Ornano. It’s a mélange of styles and interesting designer pieces, sourced from both flea markets and luxury brands. (There’s a “Jetlag” sofa by India Mahdavi and framed sketches by Marc Chagall.) Madame Figaro also raves about the secret café, reserved exclusively for clients.
Also in the new location is a salon area, where pre-treatment consultations take place; a café reserved for clients of the beauty institute, and a 778-square-foot boutique, where Sisley’s products may be purchased.
There are a number of different treatments on offer, including four exclusive “rituals” designed to combat the effects of urban life (such as the “anti-stress” facial and “anti-fatigue” body treatment).
Sisley also has spas in New York, Las Vegas, Provence, Saint Tropez, and Japan.
There are no shortage of sublime spas in Paris, many of which are housed at the city’s mythical palace hotels (think Chanel at The Ritz Paris and the Dior Institut at the Plaza Athénée).
