Jesse Cisneros, of “iDo” Wedding Travel (Protravel International), is a destination wedding and honeymoon travel specialist with a focus on beach destinations.
He is seeing his honeymooners opting for all-inclusive resorts to get pampered. “Ninety percent of my honeymooners want to release stress and not have to worry about pretty much anything, so going to a high-end all-inclusive resort for five to seven nights is a huge deal.
For 2018, one of his most-requested destinations was Cabo San Lucas. “I strongly believe that was because of the brand new resorts in Cabo such as Montage Los Cabos, Grand Velas Los Cabos and Le Blanc Los Cabos. These three resorts have reshaped Cabo San Lucas in becoming one of the most sought out destinations in 2018,” says Cisneros.
Cisneros recently became enamored of the Grand Velas brand.
“I got the opportunity to stay at three of their five properties on a recent visit to Puerto Vallarta,” he reports. “The service was impeccable and the food was to die for.”
He also recently saw UNICO 20˚87˚ by AIC, a small boutique resort on the Riviera Maya, a sister property to the Hard Rock Resorts & Spas in the Dominican Republic and Riviera Maya. “UNICO 20˚87˚ has an emphasis on service, gastronomy and guest experience. It’s definitely a strong second option for my luxury honeymooners,” says Cisneros.
