In the world of luxury travel, the quest for unique experiences continues to reign as the prevailing zeitgeist. Rosewood Hotels and Resorts has tapped into this trend with the Rosewood Limited Edition, a collection of singular travel experiences at the collection’s properties around the world. Starting on November 12, just in time for the holiday season, the latest to launch will be the Designer Discovery Package at the Rosewood London. For fashion lovers who have always dreamed of getting an inside peek into the design process, this is an unparalleled opportunity to work with a leading luxury designer.
Guests will be able to work alongside Melissa Morris, founder and creative director of Métier London, to create their very own collection of leather travel accessories to be shown at the brand’s flagship store at 59 South Audley Street in Mayfair. The experience kicks off with a dinner with Melissa at Rosewood London’s The Pie Room, followed by a private jet journey to Florence to pick the leather for the collection, while learning about the craftsmanship and quality materials that go into making a bespoke luggage line. You’ll overnight at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, the brand’s Tuscan country estate, before returning to London. Price tag for this epic experience? $115,000.
P.S.: While in the British capital, check out the Rosewood’s winter pop-up in the courtyard. In partnership with Absolut Elyx, the Elyx Chalet will be designed as a cozy Swedish lodge, channeling a Nordic winter wonderland. Pair your cocktail with a fur throw and soak up the season.
