When it’s champagne o’clock in La Nouvelle-Orléans… Now you can get your bubbly fix by stepping into the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Just in time for the holidays, the luxury hotel has unveiled a Moët & Chandon Champagne vending machine in the lobby—and it’s getting quite the buzz. For one thing, The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans launched an Instagram scavenger hunt to celebrate the launch, sharing clues via Instagram stories of where to find hidden champagne ornaments around the French Quarter. (Those lucky folks who found an ornament can exchange it at the front desk for a special Moët coin—to be used in the new machine for a complimentary bottle.)
The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans teamed up with the Moët & Chandon luxury brand—the renowned champagne house founded in 1743 that’s also one of the world's largest champagne producers—to bring to the region its first permanent champagne vending machine. Inside the machine, which holds 320 bottles, you’ll find small bottles of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut and Rosé available for $25. Specialty tokens are used as payment. Note that The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans is also teaming up with Moët & Chandon for a New Year’s Eve to remember; the Moët Masquerade will feature a six-course dinner paired with Moët & Chandon champagnes.
Situated just a block from Bourbon Street at the edge of the French Quarter, The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans is home to the largest spa in the city, the Davenport Lounge with live music by Jeremy Davenport, the M Bistro, and 35,000 square feet of event space.
