Crazy about cult cosmetics by Acqua di Parma? Pay heed to this Italian dream team. Hotel Principe di Savoia—a long-time landmark in Milan—has teamed up with luxury brand Acqua di Parma to make a difference this holiday season. Called “A Small Gesture,” the initiative supports Dynamo Camp, a post-hospitalization therapy camp for children with severe and chronic illnesses. Dynamo Camp seeks to provide recreational, sporting and fun social activities for children effected by chronic illness.
Step into the hotel lobby from the Piazza della Repubblica and you’ll have the chance to see the handcrafted Christmas tree, done up by Acqua di Parma with braided willow balls, the brand’s signature colors, and a variety of Acqua di Parma products. Purchase some premium goodies from the pop-up space in the lobby and 20 percent of the proceeds will directly support Dynamo Camp. (The tree will be on display from November 25 to January 8, 2019).
While you’re at the five-star hotel, partake in festive feasts like a Christmas and New Year’s menu at Acanto restaurant, and signature panettone and Christmas canapés at Il Salotto. The Principe Bar is gearing up for a memorable New Year’s Eve party with a live DJ set and—as the clock strikes midnight—generous servings of traditional cotechino with lentils for guests to start the new year off right.
Part of the Dorchester Collection, Hotel Principe di Savoia first opened in 1927 and today offers 301 rooms, buzzy restaurants, and the Club 10 Fitness & Beauty Center with sweeping city views from the penthouse.
