If you’re staying at the “Grande Dame of the Far East,” you can now flirt with a trio of deluxe transportation options since The Peninsula Hong Kong has recently launched a luxury yacht in addition to its customized helicopter and fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms. (By land, air, or sea… Why not try all three? The Peninsula Hong Kong is the city’s first hotel to offer a tony transportation triumvirate.)
Measuring 62 feet in length, the Sunseeker Manhattan 60 is a luxury cruiser outfitted to accommodate 15 passengers for two-hour sunset voyages. These evening cruises include free-flowing champagne and other drinks, along with a selection of canapés. But perhaps the star of the show is the "Symphony of Lights," a splendid multimedia show that’s taken place in Victoria Harbour since 2004. The cruise will take in this fabulous light show. The package is available from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm nightly, priced at HKD 1,400 for adults and HKD 600 for children (approximately $178 and $76, respectively).
Note that The Peninsula Yacht will also be available as a new venue for events. The cruiser can be chartered for cocktail receptions, photo shoots, and other private events. It’s even possible to organize onboard massage therapy by The Peninsula Spa.
