Ace Hotel announced the release of gift cards for future stays with 100 proceeds of proceeds up to $100,000 going to the Ace Family Fund, directly supporting staff impacted by the temporary suspension of operations due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). Upon reaching the goal, 25 percent of additional proceeds will continue to benefit the fund.
Until hotels can safely resume operations, gift cards offer guests the opportunity to look forward to future travel and hotel stays while providing immediately beneficial support to the individuals who help keep Ace running. Gift cards purchased through FutureKey can be put toward a reservation’s final bill at participating Ace Hotel cities on any upcoming stays, including incidentals, minibar expenses, room service, on-site retail and at restaurants and bars. Gift cards can be used for a single stay or multiple stays to come. Participating properties include Ace Hotel New York, Ace Hotel Chicago, Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, Ace Hotel New Orleans, Ace Hotel Portland and Ace Hotel Seattle.
The Ace Family Fund was created to provide relief for their furloughed teams across all hotel properties and at each location’s restaurants, bars and venues. Funds will be directly and evenly distributed, paid as untaxed gifts to employees at U.S. Ace Hotel locations, Sister City, Maison de la Luz and at Atelier Ace.
In partnership with FutureKey, gift cards can be purchased for individual participating properties at acehotel.com/giftcard with a discount for up to 20 percent and with no expiration or blackout dates.
