Airelles is gearing up to welcome guests back to its properties in the French Alps for winter 2022-23. Airelles Courchevel and Airelles Val d’Isère will both be open from December 9, 2022 to April 10, 2023.
This season, Les Airelles in Courchevel will debut two private chalets. Located just steps from the hotel’s main building, and connected via secret underground passageways, the new chalets offer panoramic views of the snow-covered summit of the Saulire. The chalets vary in size and can accommodate around 12 to 15 guests. Spaces include a large living area with a fireplace and TV, da ining room, cinema room, games room with a bar and pool table, a children’s playroom, a wellness area with indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, relaxation area, hammam, Iyashi Dome and treatment room, and a Bernard Orcel ski room. Staff includes a ski valet, private chef, sommelier and a chalet manager.
Guests will enjoy full access to the hotel facilities, including seven restaurants (four onsite, three offsite); the Children’s Kingdom; La Mer spa; a range of Alpine experiences; and Les Airelles’ fleet of chauffeured Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Located on Les Airelles’ fourth floor, the Penthouse Apartment suite has been renovated by Christophe Tollemer. Guests can expect four bedrooms, each with its own private balcony, dressing room and en-suite bathroom complete with a hammam, walk-in shower and bath. Other facilities include a private spa, screening room, a playroom for children and a 10-seater dining table. The 1,615-square-foot terrace has been renovated with a new Norwegian-style hot tub. Exclusive amenities include a private butler, a Rolls Royce Cullinan and driver, helicopter airport transfers, a private fitness instructor upon request, and a personalized Balenciaga handbag.
In addition, the Airelles ice rink has been significantly expanded and now spans 98 feet. It has a new sound and lighting system. Tip: As no alpine skating session is complete without the customary hot chocolate, this will be served from a wooden chalet in front of the rink along with other sweet treats.
Airelles is extending its culinary offering this season with a new slopeside restaurant, with direct access from Les Santons and L’Epaule du Charvet pistes. The restaurant will be open to both hotel guests and visitors alike. Loulou Val d’Isère will be returning for this winter season. Following last year’s success, this Paris institution will once again delight guests with the creative cuisine of Chef Benoit Dargère with a menu featuring strong Italian influences, straight from the Piedmont Valley and Lombardy.
New for this season, Airelles Val d’Isère welcomes a new Vanille & Lilas boutique which will join Moncler and Bernard Orcel on the hotel’s ground-floor. The boutique offers artisanal local lifestyle products, besides a selection of items sourced from other Airelles properties including Courchevel, Gordes, Versailles and Saint-Tropez.
