The Allegretto Vineyard Resort, Paso Robles’ first wine country destination resort on California’s Central Coast, announced it will offer new Art & Wine Tours starting in January. The resort’s collection of art from around the globe, curated by proprietor Douglas Ayres, will be paired with a sampling of the Allegretto estate wines to offer guests a cultural experience.
With origins in multiple centuries, cultures, faiths and wisdom traditions, over one hundred objects of art and artifacts fill the hallways, grounds and walls of the Allegretto Vineyard Resort are covered with pieces from all over the world. The work of Russian and California impressionists is displayed alongside sculptures such as a 2 million-year-old concretion mined from the Fontainebleau shores of France, and a slice of Sequoia tree that dates back to 214 B.C., fill the Tuscan-inspired resort.

The resort itself is placed on a twenty-acre estate surrounded by grapevines, olive and fruit trees, and gardens. The wines are produced from eight acres of vines that surround the resort, along with grapes from hillsides in the Willow Creek District.
Additionally, the wines have been recognized for their quality, winning 2017 Gold Medals for the 2013 Willow Creek Cabernet Sauvignon at the San Francisco International Wine Competition and the California Mid-State Fair, and a 2017 Double Gold Medal for the 2013 Tannat.
The Willow Creek Tasting Room, located within the resort, is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., or by appointment Mondays and Tuesdays, for guests to explore Viognier, Chardonnay, Malbec, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others.
The docent-led, hour-long Art & Wine Tours are hosted Fridays and Saturdays at 4 p.m.
