Aman Announces Texas Hill Country Ranch Resort

Aman is going country (in a very Aman way).

The ultra-luxury hospitality brand announced plans this month for Amansanu, its first ranch-inspired retreat and sixth U.S. property, set in Texas Hill Country northwest of Austin. The property marks Aman's geographic and operational expansion into a new property type within the continental U.S.

Amansanu will comprise standalone pavilions and a limited collection of Aman-branded residences, each situated on hillside sites starting at ten acres. The resort sits within rolling hills, limestone cliffs and winding creeks, with views stretching across valleys and canyons.

The property has been designed by Olson Kundig and will feature a main lodge, multiple dining concepts, an Aman Spa and Wellness Center positioned along a natural creek, racquet sports courts, and hiking trails. The resort will also introduce Aman's first fully serviced stables, the brand's take on contemporary ranch amenities.

The residences, designed to align with the resort's architectural vision, will offer open-plan living, natural materials, and expansive terraces overlooking the landscape, with emphasis on privacy and uninterrupted views.

The announcement positions Amansanu within Aman's broader Americas expansion, complementing existing U.S. properties Amangiri in Utah, Wyoming's Amangani, and Aman New York. The brand also has Amanvari (slated to open this summer) on Mexico's East Cape, plus Aman Miami Beach, Aman Beverly Hills and Amancaya in The Bahamas in development.

"Aman's presence in the United States, with Amangiri, Amangani and Aman New York, reflects our focus on creating rare sanctuaries in destinations defined by natural beauty and cultural depth," Aman Group CEO Vlad Doronin said in a statement. "Texas Hill Country embodies these qualities, with rolling landscapes and an independent spirit which aligns closely with Aman's philosophy. Amansanu represents a meaningful evolution for Aman in the Americas, introducing a new expression of the brand while preserving the peace, privacy and connection to its surroundings that defines each of our destinations."
