Andaz Maui Wailea Resort is commending its fifth anniversary on Labor Day weekend by having a party in which proceeds will be donated to the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve, a native ecosystem that’s part of the island’s water supply. The money will also go towards replanting endemic plants on Andaz Maui’s over 10-acre beachfront property. Special guests include members of the Maui family, the Morimoto Maui team and a lineup of performances.
The Fifth Anniversary Celebration of Andaz Maui is going to occur on Sunday, September 2, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The party will feature six culinary stations around the resort. Chefs include:
- Chef de Cuisine Jonathan Pasion of Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort
- Chef Nicko Fix of Morimoto Maui
- Executive Chef Greg Grohowski of Hyatt Regency Maui
- Executive Chef Matthew Smith of Grand Hyatt Kauai
- Director of Culinary Operations Jeff Szombaty of Hyatt Regency Waikiki
Also included is musical entertainment. Live performances will start at 3:00 p.m and include:
- Kaena Duo
- Nuff Sedd
- Fire Knife Show
- Anuhea
Tickets are available now and can be purchased online. Included in the ticket is access to local art & fashion booths, six culinary booths, unlimited beverage service and live entertainment. Pricing is:
- Pre-sale: $150 per person, plus taxes and fees
- General Admission: $180 per person, plus taxes and fees
- VIP: $260 per person, plus taxes and fees
- VIP Table (Seats eight): $1,800, plus taxes and fees
