Auberge Resorts Collection has been appointed by the Miami-based global developer Witkoff and Monroe Capital to manage The Shore Club Resort & Residences in Miami Beach, FL. The Shore Club Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, is slated to open in 2027 following extensive renovations.
The Shore Club has stood in the heart of Miami Beach since 1949, when Albert Anis designed the Art Deco hotel within a lush, beachfront oasis. As an Auberge Resorts Collection property, this three-acre property with 175 feet of oceanfront will encompass not only the original Shore Club and its Art Deco contemporary, The Cromwell Hotel, built in 1939, but also a new 18-story residential tower and a free-standing residential villa, both designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) as the firm’s first-ever oceanfront project.
Working closely with London-based interior design firm Bryan O’Sullivan Studio and Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, RAMSA and Auberge Resorts Collection will ensure that The Shore Club’s historic integrity and character remain intact. Upon reopening, it will offer 73 rooms and suites, including a luxuru penthouse. Guests will also enjoy direct beach access and five-star amenities.
Rising from the shore with Atlantic Ocean views, the property’s new 200-foot-tall residential tower will reveal RAMSA’s spin on Miami Beach’s MiMo (Miami Modern) architecture. The eight-story Cromwell Hotel will be transformed into a discreet private residential entrance from which homeowners will access the 49 residences. Each will have a distinct floor plan and large glass windows that frame ocean views. Interiors touch on the same theme that runs throughout the resort, with rich woods and brass accents—a nod to the materials and forms of classic yachts.
An addition to Miami Beach and unique to The Shore Club Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, is an 8,000-square-foot beach house, also designed by RAMSA. Envisaged for a single family, the fully serviced villa offers its own private entrance, pool and palm-fringed ocean views.
Residents and guests of The Shore Club Resort & Private Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection can choose from a range of relaxation and entertainment options, including a fitness center, a library, lounge and residents-only pool just steps from the sand, as well as in-home offerings. They will also have access to all other hotel amenities, including the signature restaurant. Additionally, a double-height café and bar will lead to an al fresco lounge, while an indoor-outdoor Auberge spa and fitness center will cater to all wellness needs. Time outside can be savored at the Beach Club, in the cocktail lounge and at three pools flanked by sun terraces and a poolside café and bar.
