Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has announced its new management takeover in the Italian seaside town of Forte dei Marmi in Tuscany. The brand plans to embark on a renovation project to transform the former Paradiso al Mare, a three-star hotel on Via Machiavelli, into a five-star Baglioni Hotel. Following the rebrand, the property is expected to open its doors in 2026.
With works scheduled to commence in January 2024, the project will mark the brand’s ninth property and will involve extensive renovations ensuring that every aspect of the hotel reflects Baglioni’s signature elements and experiences.
The new address will offer 58 rooms and suites, with standout spaces including a rooftop with views of the Ligurian Sea. The rooftop will include a bar, gym and a large pool spanning 65 feet. Another highlight includes the resort’s spa, covering approximately 3,229 square feet. It will offer a range of treatments and facilities for guests to relax and rejuvenate.
As of now, the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts collection numbers five hotels—four in Italy’s top art and design cities (Florence, Venice, Milan and Rome) and one in the center of London’s Kensington district—plus three resorts: Baglioni Masseria Muzza in Otranto, Puglia, in Sardinia with Baglioni Resort Sardinia, just north of San Teodoro on Lu Impostu beach, and in the Maldives on the isle of Maagau.
