Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has announced that Casa Baglioni will debut in Milan in late 2022. The property will mark the brand’s third new opening in 18 months, following the launch of Baglioni Resort Sardinia in June 2021 and the upcoming launch of Baglioni Masseria Muzza in Puglia in May 2022.
Casa Baglioni is located in the heart of Milan’s design district of Brera and is in close proximity to several luxury boutiques, art galleries, antique markets and bars. The property has 30 suites and guestrooms, a living area, a wine cellar and a restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler. The hotel is part of The Leading Hotels of the World, it offers spaces created by Italian architects Spagnulo & Partners. The hotel’s design draws inspiration from the art and design of 1960s Milan, using a harmonious blend of color and lighting.
Under CEO Guido Polito’s stewardship, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has developed a concept of contemporary luxury centered around customized service. The collection features four hotels—three in the heart of Italy’s finest art cities (Florence, Venice and Rome), and one in the center of London’s Kensington district—besides three resorts in Punta Ala, Tuscany; in the Maldives on the isle of Maagau; and in Sardinia with Baglioni Resort Sardinia, just north of San Teodoro on the Lu Impostu beach. Two more properties will be added to the collection this year—Baglioni Masseria Muzza in Puglia and Casa Baglioni in Milan, bringing the collection to a total of four resorts and five hotels.
