Thai resort Banyan Tree Samui will offer a Coconut Immersion package at its spa from July 1 to August 31. The two-hour treatment uses coconut oil and milk to relax and refresh guests.
To spa experience begins with an hour long Gentle Touch Massage. The masseuse uses long strokes and thumb pressure together to relax the body, ease muscle tension and revitalize the recipient. Next, the client receives a half hour Pineapple & Coconut Scrub. According to the spa manager Montira Vichiankoo, the treatment uses the coconut to moisturize the skin and the Vitamin C to repair it and protect it from damage. The spa package ends with a foot bath and an assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt and herbal teas.
Banyan Tree Samui is an 88-villa resort within the tropical rainforest overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Banyan Tree Samui includes a spa, fitness center, kids’ area, pool, library and access to a private bay. The resort is located about half an hour out from Samui International Airport.
