The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel has announced the opening of two new Turret Penthouse Suites. The new suites come just after the hotel’s one year anniversary.
Located in a historic New York City building, the rooftop two-story accommodations overlook Beekman Street. There is a private entryway that leads to the suites; upon entering, guests are welcomed by 40-foot ceilings with a 19th century chandelier. On the first floor, guests will find a lounge and dining area with an antique stone fireplace wet bar, powder room and marble bathroom.
The second floor overlooks the entertainment space and house a king sized bed and soaking tub.
Multiple windows light up the room and the 800-square-foot private terraces provide views of the New York skyline including City Hall Park, the Woolworth Building and One World Trade Center. An outdoor terrace connects the suites, which are also great for private events, dinners and special occasions.
Included in the stay is a dedicated concierge team, American breakfast, luxury round-trip airport transfer, premium honor bar and exclusive access to a choice of luxury Lexus vehicles. In-room features include a selection of Bang & Olufsen speakers, luxurious sateen Sferra linens and exclusive D.S. & Durga bath amenities. The suites are available to book now.
The Beekman offers upscale accommodations, two onsite restaurants, Temple Court and Augustine, The Bar Room bar and lounge and a variety of event spaces. The historic building underwent extensive renovation over three years, which also included the restoration of its trademark nine-story, Victorian atrium and glass skylight.
