Bequia Beach Hotel, now entering its 10th year, has unveiled a host of changes, including a new four-bedroom villa, yacht programs and a new executive chef. In recognition of the anniversary, the hotel will offer a 15 percent commission for travel advisors bookings throughout 2019.
The Grenadines hotel, already home to 58 guestrooms and suites, has debuted a new villa. The Palm Villa has four bedrooms, a separate living room and kitchen, a swimming pool and a sundeck. Set among the property's tropical gardens, the villa’s location provides guests with total privacy.
Also new this year, Bequia Beach Hotel will now provide guests with a 114-foot super-yacht that they can reserve for everything from sunset cruises to weeklong rentals to Mustique and Tobago Cays. While guests stay aboard the Star of the Sea, the ship’s full-time professional chef will be available to prepare meals. The ship can hold up to 12 guests for private charters, 50 for events like cocktails parties and 20 for sunset cruises.
Bequia Beach Hotel has also picked a new executive chef to lead its culinary team, Chef Nils-Bertil Hansson. In his new position, Hansson will manage all the hotel’s food offerings, including its main restaurant, Bagatelle. The beachside venue offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature international cuisine. Bequia Beach Hotel’s culinary program also includes the Italian restaurant Blue Tropic on The Hill and Jack’s Beach Bar.
